Personal Care Services
This service provides an alternative to a Nursing Facility for individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living in their own homes.
With Brenda Richardson Memorial Care Services, your loved one can get assistance with essential household tasks including:
- Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, dressing, ambulation)
- Assistance with cleaning that is an integral part of personal care and is essential to their health and welfare;
- Assistance maintaining a safe environment.
Transportation
Your loved one can receive safe and reliable transportation for activities and medical appointments. The cost is $6.00 for destinations within a 10-mile radius. Distances over 10 miles will be charged at $0.52 per mile for every mile more than ten.
Homemaker Services
With Brenda Richardson Memorial Care Services, your loved one can receive responsive homemaker services including:
- General household activities and chores such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, making the bed, washing dishes, personal laundry, ironing, mending, and meal preparation and/or education about the preparation of nutritious appetizing meals;
- Assistance with the maintenance of a safe environment
- Errands essential to your loved one’s care such as grocery shopping and having prescriptions filled.
These services are provided by a trained homemaker when your loved one is unable to perform such activities or when the person regularly responsible for these activities is temporarily unavailable.
